Curva J Tech took part in Hannover Messe 2026 with a project that transforms applied science into a concrete product: a recycling and upcycling solution for ballistic equipment manufactured with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), a material widely used in ballistic vests and armor systems.

The project was developed in partnership with SENAI, combining applied research with the development of real industrial capacity in Brazil. The initiative aims to establish a complete production chain for recycling this high-performance fiber, representing an unprecedented advancement in the sector within the country.

The project is directly aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12 (SDG 12) — Responsible Consumption and Production — integrating environmental sustainability into the national defense supply chain.

In addition to the technical presentation, Curva J Tech’s agenda in Hannover included a strategic meeting with Brigadier Heraldo, Secretary of the Defense Products Secretariat of the Ministry of Defense, and Brigadier General Brion of the Brazilian Army, reaffirming Curva J Tech’s commitment to the sectors that protect and drive the country forward.

Participation in the world’s largest industrial trade fair strengthens Curva J Tech’s position on the international innovation stage, bringing together defense, industry, and science in a single global platform.
